New Released !!! New Cross Mounts for SII-5525, SII-5535 & SII-6530 !!

During the 2019 flying season we saw a huge increase in the number of modelers which were converting their large scale freestyle airplanes from gas power to electric power. In addition, most modern freestyle airframes come with the firewall pre drilled and spaced to fit a “standardized size” of gas engine with respect to the engine size which is supposed to go in the model.

These size of airplanes are most commonly divided into three size ranges.

30-40cc size engine , 73”-76” wingspan
50-60cc size engine, 85”-91” wingspan
100-120cc size engine, 100”-107” wingspan

Since Scorpion makes a perfectly sized motor for each of these size ranges we figured we should try make it as easy as possible for our customers when they go to mount a Scorpion Motor to their Airframe. In order to do this we introduce to you a few new Scorpion motor accessories!

We introduce to you our new Freestyle Cross Mounts for the SII-5525, SII-5535, and SII-6530 series of motors! These new Cross Mounts are designed to match the bolt hole spacing of common equivalently sized gas engines, and in addition they are machined out of 5mm 6061 Aluminum which makes them even stronger and more suited for aggressive freestyle flying.

30-40cc Applications

For pilots with a 30-40cc size freestyle airplane we would recommend one of our SII-5525 motors and now we also have the

Scorpion SII-5525 Cross Mount(Freestyle version)

This product when used with the SII-5525 series motor will make it so that your Scorpion motors mounts with the same bolt hole spacing as a common 35cc gas engine.

50-60cc Applications

For pilots with a 50-60cc size freestyle airplane we would recommend one of our SII-5535 motors and now we also have the

Scorpion SII-5535 Cross Mount(Freestyle version)

This product when used with the SII-5535 series motor will make it so that your Scorpion motors mounts with the same bolt hole spacing as a common 50-60cc gas engine.

85-120cc Applications

For pilots with a 85-120cc size freestyle airplane we would recommend one of our SII-6530 motors and now we also have the

Scorpion SII-6530 Cross Mount(Freestyle version)

This product when used with the SII-6530 series motor will make it so that your Scorpion motors mounts with the same bolt hole spacing as a common 100-120cc gas engine.

Scorpion SII-65 Cross Mount(Reinforced version)

This is reinforced the mounting of SII-6530 series motor.
