HKIV-4025 Shaft Kit XL (6mm 36mm)

The Scorpion HKIV-4025 series motors are built with 8mm hardened steel shafts that will last through countless hours of use. However, occasionally they can wear out, or you may prefer another size of shaft specific for your model. We offer factory replacement shafts for all the HKIV-4025 series Scorpion Helicopter Motors.

This shaft kit is for the HKIV-4025 series motors, and is the STOCK shaft size which comes with the HKIV-4025 Motors. The pinion end of this shaft is ground down to 6mm with appropriate flat spot to allow the user to install the required pinion. The shafts can be cut shorter with a Dremel tool and a cut-off wheel if necessary.

Note: The shafts in the Scorpion motors are a slight press fit into the aluminum front housing. The shafts will not just slide out when the set screws are removed. They need to be pressed out with a arbor press, with the front housing of the motor supported in a block of wood to prevent warping the front housing.

This HKIV shaft is compatible with previous motor versions such as HKIII / HK 4025 motors. However, some minor modification may be required.
